Community Impact

Building relationships with our community, both close to us and further afield, is very important to us here at Hatchlings Early Learning Centre Caboolture.

Our centre supports the benefits of children engaging in the natural environment which is included in our philosophy of play and is reflected in our programs and practices. As a local team of early learning Educators, we make a point of supporting our surrounding businesses as much as possible. We offer small businesses the opportunity to advertise to our families with offers or promotions via the OWNA app and also in our centre with business cards and flyers.

We believe in the quality and convenience of these products and services and aim to help community flourish. We encourage the children who attend our centre to care for people who may be different to them and to give extra support to those who need it.

We have partnered with iHOPE Inc which endeavours to create a better every day life and peaceful co-existence for the South Sudanese in South Sudan as well as those here in Australia.

We like to be able to support and give back to our families in tangible ways where we can. We often collect clothes and toiletries for families who may be escaping domestic violence and also work together with our families to raise money for different causes throughout the year such as Red Nose, Cancer Council, Kidney Foundation and other causes that come up and are relevant to our community.

We are a part of the Fathering Group which offers an online support group for Dads who are either parenting alone, for the first time or just seeking to make connections with other dads in the community. You can find fun things to do with your children, new topics to learn about and many other activities and ideas to engage in throughout the year. We have relationships with the local churches in our area. If you would like to know more about the local playgroups or support groups you can join, ask us at the centre and we would love to help you connect.

We are working on a community garden at the front of our centre, providing fresh fruits and vegetables to families and the community.
